Healing Stories by the Parents and Children of Darebin and Melton VACCA Koorie Kids Playgroup. The parents felt strongly about creating a book to share with community that reflected the importance of coming together, sharing culture and passing this on to all children. The possum skin cloaks became a symbol of culture, belonging and identity throughout the workshops, and helped engage the group in discussions about the importance of culture to them, and the role it plays in their lives.
