Notes:
Rising above the sea for 314 metres, Wonga, now called Arthur's Seat dominated the southern country of the Boonoorong tribe on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. This story is set in the year of 1840 and deals with those members of the Boonoorong who had reached the last stage of living tribally on the Southern Mornington Peninsula. The original routes followed by them display the lifestyle that sustained them in their travels throughout the area. Accounts of the years before white settlement are told through Minga, the grandfather of one of the family groups. The adventures of the children are recorded, the main characters being Minga's own granchildren and their friends. This book is based on fact but written in fiction form. Revised edition.
