Annual General Meeting - Motion | Sandringham Train Line Closure

Dear Member,

Annual General Meeting - Motion

On Thursday 16 May 2019, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), the majority of members (41 to 1) voted in favour of the motion:

"that the PMI requests that the government revokes its incorporation under the Prahran Mechanics' Institutes Act 1899 and becomes incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Reform Act 2012".

The discussion by the members in regards to the above was fruitful and constructive.

For those who were unable to attend the AGM, you can find a copy of the discussion paper for the proposal here.

The Minister for Local Government will be officially notified in writing by PMI later this week.

There will be a regular segment in the newsletter and on our website, keeping everyone informed of the progress.  There will also be numerous opportunities for you to participate and provide feedback at all stages of the process.

Sandringham Train Line Closure - Tuesday 21 May to Sunday 9 June 2019
