VHR 987. This report assesses the significance of the Ballarat Mechanics Institute, 117 Sturt Street, Ballarat in order to assess the viability of the adaptation of the building into a theatre. The report includes two schematic design proposals outlining the necessary conservation and alteration works with preliminary cost estimates prepared for each.
