Includes Index of photos and Index. The St Arnaud and District ww1 diary 1914-1918 has been written in diary format as a body of the work was compiled from articles in the St Arnaud Mercury Newspaper .
The diary therefore identifies soldiers, sailors, airmen and nurses who were born in, enlisted from, worked in, or had families living in St Arnaud or in the smaller local communities in the surrounding districts, but as there was a large number of local soldiers and nurses identified the diary only gives detailed information on those local people who died, or who were invalided home during the period 1914-1918. The book has over 350 coloured pages.
