The Farmer Cinemathequeis a DVD created by film-maker Malcom McKinnon from the film reels of Rupanyup Teasdale family. Using this local footage set against contemporary material, it is embellished with story-telling from members of the Teasdale family and the Wimmera community, the DVD stimulates our memory of community events & rituals and the nature of our attachment to country, drawing parallels between Indigenous and settler modes of country-keeping and providing an affirmation to the rhythms of rural life.
