Notes:
The 2003 bushfires burnt 1.2 million hectares in the Victorian Alps. Parks Victoria and the Department of Sustainability and Environment in partnership with aboriginal communities, conducted archaeological surveys across the high country and alpine areas of Victoria. This documentary uncovers not only the evidence of past occupation, but also the rich surviving culture, living on through the indigenous groups, their elders and their artists. The archaeological revelations rewrite the history of the Alps.
