dc.description.abstract	We see fiction as an important part of the social history of the time in which it was written. Fiction is also an important part of our own voices collection, as we find that minority groups are writing their stories in fiction before they are writing them in non-fiction. We use subjects for our fiction collection the same way we do for the nonfiction collection.	en
