These records have been taken from the original book presented to the Wodonga Family History Society by a Bethanga resident. The records show the names of early settlers to the Bethanga district and are of significant historic importance. The land claims relate to mining claims as well as to residential sites. The records give the actual date and time the claim was made, a description of the location, when mining ceased for a period, when the land was transferred and to whom. The disc contains a digitised copy of the original Registration of Claims book, the transcribed copy of the same book and additional documents or copies of actual documents found in the book--Introduction.
