This transcription of the original document 'Squatting directory' has been prepared to especially assist those researchers seeking details of people and properties in early Victoria. It is book 3 of a 3 book series.

The listing has been presented in three different sort formats i.e. Occupier's name, District and Property Name. Original spelling has been maintained, however with careful examination it is possible to identify some of the modern property names.

It should be remembered that this listing is created as at 1874, thirteen years after the Proclamation of the State of Victoria. Many properties were being added as new stations were being taken up or created, also many properties changed ownership frequently as pastoralists found their feet in settling the new colony, often times surviving several monetary crises, different weather patterns and a changing social order.
