The seven chapters begin with movie filmed, by the late Peter Vasley, featuring Sydney Daimlers, Albions, Leyland OPD1 and other government buses. Footage [from] Greg Travers follows with a video tour through Sydney's Chullora bus workshops and Sydney's eastern suburbs. We journey to Melbourne and see government and private buses in various suburban locations. Canberra follows with a review of the bus shortage period of the 1970s. We see Brisbane in 1973 then the monorail and buses at EXPO'88. Adelaide is visited in 1972 with later visits in 1992. Finally with visit Perth in 1974, 1975 and 1976. Digitised cine film has been partly dubbed with live sound and combined with later analogue video and Hi-8 video footage. Subtitles are included for additional information." -- rear cover.
