Melbourne Photographer p1xels debut curatorial exhibition [captured] has brought together a collection of treasured images from the personal archives of some of Melbourne’s most unique street and art photographers.
The exhibition is a celebration of the diverse expression of art that Melbourne and greater Victoria’s streets and public walls have been home to over the last decade.
Each photographer was asked to select an image that resonates strongly with them, holds a personal connection, or represents an important moment in the history of street art and public murals.
Due to COVID lockdowns, the exhibition moved online and a zine was produced as a keepsake for those who would have visited the gallery, exhibited in the show, or just like to look at a selection of beautiful images.
