CD in back of book This document gives a brief introduction to the Darebin area and guidelines for inclusion, but more significantly, indexes the men and women that appear in the In Memoriam volume on the CD. Also included are some sample pages from the archives to give a feel for the data recorded for each individual who paid the Supreme Sacrifice. Part Two of Darebin’s Great War comprises an In Memoriam archival history of just over 700 men (and two women) from the Darebin district of Melbourne (primarily Northcote, Preston, Fairfield and Alphington) who died in the service of Australia during the Great War.
